Fees

HS2G caters mostly to luxury residential estates, resorts and private school clients. We provide personal service and a hands-on approach from design through installation. To ensure that each client receives the proper attention and level of service, HS2G limits the number of clients accepted each year. Design fees are determined based on scope of work. Our typical client has a budget for their landscape installation in excess of $100,000.

 

Landscape Architectural design involves several components and phases; these will vary from project to project depending on site conditions, client needs and wishes, budget, local code ordinances, and the scope of work.

 

A typical Landscape Architectural design may include working drawings (CADD Drawings) for any or all the following elements: lump-sum fees calculated based on scope of work.

 

  • Site Work: Grading and Drainage, Details and Specifications

  • Hardscape Design, Details and Specifications: technical drawings to detail the layout, design and construction of all elements necessary to build new hardscape elements, such as a driveway/motor court, walkways, patio, decking, arbors, trellis, fire pits, pool, spa, water features, pre-cast concrete details, paving and tile design/specs, with details and cost estimates for each component.

  • Planting Design, Details and Specifications: technical drawings to detail the layout, design and construction of all elements necessary to build new planting design for all areas of the site with plant names and quantities, layout, plant schedule, details and cost estimate.

  • Irrigation Design, Details and Specifications: technical drawings to detail the layout, design and construction of all elements necessary to build new irrigation system, including layout of mainline, pipe, and head type/model/manufacturer, pump, valve, and clock specifications and details. and cost estimate.

  • Lighting Design, Details and Specifications: technical drawings to detail the layout, design and construction of all elements necessary to build new lighting system, including layout of fixtures, specifications for make/model/type, details and timing clock.  and cost estimate.

  • Code Calculations: as required by county/municipal code to demonstrate compliance for permits.

 

Additional Services (generally charged on an hourly basis at $200/hour) may include:

  • Specimen Plant Location and Selection

  • Site furnishings Selection and Specifications: Pots, planters, furnishings, Umbrellas,

  • Selection of Artwork: sculpture and Garden Artwork

  • Bidding assistance
